The support of the Ravenswood community continues to be crucial to the development and growth of the programmes supported by Annual Giving. Each of these programmes is fully tax deductible.

The Ravenswood Scholarship Fund – tax deductible

The tax deductible Ravenswood Scholarship Fund will help us to grow a corpus of funds to support our students into the future. For some, attending Ravenswood is out of financial reach and so we aim to be in a position to assist families while also providing Academic, Music and All Rounder scholarships. Additionally, the Scholarship Fund supports the Global Experience programme enabling students to take up a variety of overseas exchanges and opportunities as part of broadening our girls’ life experiences. As you reflect on your association with Ravenswood we feel sure you will feel it is important for us to build a strong endowment to support our students and to provide the very best opportunities we can.

The Ravenswood Library Fund – tax deductible 

1. The reorganisation last year of reading resources into genres has highlighted areas that need focused attention.  The Classics is the first genre for review.  The Library staff is intent on building an extensive and appealing Classics collection that will invite the girls to enhance their experience of the beauty and power that words convey.
   
2. In addition, the acquisition of Audio or Talking Books is another focus for the Library and English departments.  Audiobooks enable busy students to find more time to read and tap into the technology that they like to use. Another important component is that audiobooks are a crucial link to students with special needs.

The Ravenswood Building Fund – tax deductible 

Gifts to the Building Fund through the 2009 Annual Giving programme will be directed to the refurbishment of the Science Laboratories.
