Our student-focused curriculum offers every girl in Kindergarten to Year 12 a stimulating, balanced and flexible educational environment. This is designed to provide positive experiences that motivate and challenge the girls to participate in the learning process. K-6
Ravenswood Junior students enjoy their own colourful and engaging precinct on the campus, plus the benefits of the specialist teachers and facilities of the Secondary School.
Junior School continues to embrace traditional concepts and skills such as grammar, spelling and tables while at the same time emphasising the integrated learning that is central to the knowledge era of the twenty-first century.

All girls have specialist teachers for Physical Education and Music. From Kindergarten students have specialist teachers for Languages Other Than English (LOTE), music classes, instrumental and choral programmes, Technological and Applied Studies, Visual Arts, Religious Education, Library and ICT studies.
Junior School Curriculum includes: English , Mathematics , Science and Technology , Human Society and its Environment , Integrated Communication Technologies , Religious Studies , Languages other than English (currently French) , Music , Visual Arts , Personal Development and Health , Physical Education
Years 7 to 12
Subjects for Years 7 & 8
Students in Years 7 & 8 study the following wide range of subjects as an excellent basis for their secondary education and in preparation for the selection of elective subjects in Years 9 & 10.
English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, Visual Arts, Music, Technology, PDHPE, Religious Education and 2 electives :
Languages - Year 7 students choose 1 from: French, German, Japanese and Latin.
Languages - Year 8 students may continue with their 2 language choices from Year 7
OR Continue with 1 language and choose Commerce OR Supplementary English OR Mathematics Skills Group
Subjects for Years 9 & 10
English, Mathematics, Science, History, Geography, PDHPE, Religious Education and 2 electives chosen from: French, German, Japanese, Latin, Visual Arts, Commerce, Music, Food Technology, Information Software and Technology, Design and Technology, Textile Technology, Physical Activity and Sports Studies and Drama.
Subjects for Years 11 and 12
In Years 11 and 12 students may choose to take either the Higher School Certificate (HSC) course or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Course (IB).

IB Diploma Programme students choose from the following subjects:
