The Ravenswood Old Girls' Union (ROGU) was established in 1908 by founding Principal, Mabel Fidler. ROGU is an Old Girls network and membership is open to all alumni locally, nationally and internationally.

Ravenswood Old Girls are a remarkable group of women formed over the past 100 years. We are proud of our Old Girls, who have been active in all walks of life and varied occupations including business, law, medicine, health services, charity, sport, academia (including a Rhodes Scholar) adventure, performing arts, arts, media and the essential role of mother and care giver. ROGU provides a vital connection between past students and the school, and encourages continued friendships and involvement in the Ravenswood community. The President of ROGU is appointed biennially as a member of the School Council.

The association offers:

  • fellowship within the Ravenswood community, past and present
  • the opportunity to renew and continue friendships
  • social events
  • avenues to continue supporting Ravenswood now and in the future
  • an annual ROGU Scholarship in Years 11 and 12, for a daughter, granddaughter or great granddaughter of a Ravenswood Old Girl.

If you are interested in ROGU membership, please contact Kim Williams in the Marketing, Communications and Engagement Department on (02) 9498 9995 or kwilliams@ravenswood.nsw.edu.au
