An overseas student is a girl who is not an Australian or New Zealand citizen, a permanent resident or a refugee. Ravenswood is registered to accept a limited number of Overseas Students for Years 7-12.
The Ravenswood community is one comprised of many nationalities. Students from Australia, Europe, the US, Singapore, Thailand, Korea and China, to name but a few, attend Ravenswood. Those who join our community as Overseas Students make a significant contribution to the life of the school and the diverse cultures that we welcome and celebrate.
Deputy Principal and Overseas Student Coordinator, David Garner is responsible for ensuring that the students’ welfare, guardianship and accommodation is appropriate and complies with the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code of Practice 2007.
The majority of Overseas Students at Ravenswood choose to board in the Ravenswood Residential College. Click here for more information.
