The Mabel Fidler Building goes to the core of teaching and learning.
 

In 2005 a strategic planning process identified the need for a new Resource Centre, or learning Hub for the school and distinct Middle and Senior school precincts. The Mabel Fidler Building will place the Resource Centre (Library) - which supports learning across K – 12, at the centre of the school. Learn more about the Master Planning process

Providing a broad-based education supported by excellence in teaching and learning practice requires that we continually review our facilities, curriculum and educational delivery. The Mabel Fidler Building, incorporating a new Resource Centre and the associated Middle School precinct are urgent and integral to the education of current and future Ravenswood girls. These facilities will assist in meeting the needs and specific learning styles of girls and will provide a focal point for academic, social and intellectual development.

Over the coming months this website will provide relevant information relating to the progress of the construction and associated facility development as we eagerly anticipate the opening of the Mabel Fidler Building during 2011. Find out more

WHAT DID THE RAVENSWOOD COMMUNITY SAY?

During 2008, two rounds of community consultations took place between the architects, staff, students, parents and old girls. The first was general in nature, while the second round focused more specifically on the Mabel Fidler Building and Middle School. Read more
