International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme Examinations 2012
Notable results in particular subjects were as follows (HL indicates Higher level and SL indicates Standard Level):
- The dux of the IB achieved the score of 42 (UAC rank 99.35)
- 60% of the girls who studied English A1 HL obtained a Grade 7 and 67% of English A1 SL students scored a Grade 6
- 67% of the girls who studied Economics HL, French B SL and Japanese B obtained a Grade 6
- 67% of the girls who studied Spanish ab initio SL obtained a Grade 7
- All students in Social and Cultural Anthropology HL obtained a Grade 6
- 38% of the girls who studied Psychology HL scored a Grade 6
- 50% of the girls who studied Biology obtained a Grade 6
- 20% of the students who took Chemistry scored a Grade 6
- 40% of students who studied Physics received either a Grade 7 or a Grade 6
- All students of Mathematical Studies SL and Mathematics HL received a Grade 5
- 33% of girls obtained either a Grade 7 or a Grade 6 in Mathematics SL
- 50% of girls scored a Grade 7 and 25% a Grade 6 in Visual Arts
- 18% of students were awarded a Grade A and 63% Grade B in Theory of Knowledge
- 27% of girls achieved a Grade A in their Extended Essays and 36% Grade B, written in the subject areas, English A1, Economics, Psychology, History, Social & Cultural Anthropology and Visual Arts.

- 8 students placed in top positions in the State in the following courses: Biology, Business Studies, Drama, Ancient History, History Extension, Music 1 and Visual Arts
- The NSW Board of Studies identified 68 girls as ‘Distinguished Achievers’.
- 34.9% of our students attained results in the highest band
- 38 mentions on the Distinguished Achievers list in Mathematics, General Mathematics, Mathematics Extension 1 and Mathematics Extension 2, 38% in the highest band
- 36 mentions on the Distinguished Achievers list in English (Advanced), English as a Second Language, English Extension 1 and English Extension 2,30.7% in the highest band
- From a cohort of 20, 11 Visual Arts students were nominated for ARTEXPRESS, 70% of students obtained a band 6
- all students who studied French Extension and Music Extension; obtained a result in band E4 (ie 45 or above out of 50)
- all students who studied Design and Technology, French Continuers, German Continuers, Hospitality, Japanese Continuers, Music 1, Music 2, PDHPE and Visual Arts obtained a result in band 5 or band 6;
- 55.55% of students taking Legal Studies obtained a band 6;
- 62.5% of students taking Hospitality obtained a band 6;
- 72.22% of students taking Mathematics Extension 1 obtained a band E4;
- 57.14% of students taking Mathematics Extension 2 obtained a band E4; and
- 50% of students taking Community and Family Studies obtained a band 6.
