ANZAC Ceremony

Among the VIPs gathered yesterday for the traditional Anzac ceremony, was former Ravenswood student Commodore Kath Richards, Marine Engineer Officer of the RAN, who laid a wreath, as did fellow dignitaries and the eldest and youngest students of the school. The ceremony was led by Cadets from the Ravenswood Detachment of Knox Grammar ACU, which included a Catafalque Ceremony. The School Captain gave a moving account of The Meaning of ANZAC, and MUSN Jonathon Apps from the Australian Army Band played The Last Post. Not a murmur could be heard during the minute's silience. Lest we Forget.
