Ravenswood students have excelled in national public speaking competitions held in Brisbane over the holidays. Clare (Year 10) won the Australian Speakfest competition, taking home the Naomi Williams Perpetual Trophy for 2017. Clare and Hannah (Year 10) came 10^th and 9^th respectively in the Australian Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (AIDPSC). Both have qualified for the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships (WIDPSC) to be held in Cape Town, South Africa next year.
