The Ravenswood 2016–2017 Prefects attracted leading thinkers in the area of gender equity for their Empowerment Forum, an event for student leaders across Sydney. The successful evening featured illuminating debate on ways to address gender balance in the workplace. The panel discussion featured Christine Bartlett, CEO of The Smith Family Australia, Tim Reed, CEO of MYOB, Professor Nalini Joshi AO, an Australian Laureate Fellow and Professor in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney, Clare Braund, Executive Director of Women on Boards and Sanushka Seomangal, Special Counsel at Thomson Geer.
