Ravenswood has won the title of Best Overall Performing School at the 2017 French DELF Junior Prize-Giving Ceremony, held by the Alliance Française de Sydney.

Year 12 student Ashley came first in NSW in the advanced section (B2 Level) and Year 10 student Jinjin (Joyce) came first in NSW at B1 Level.

Rachel (Year 8) and Jasmine (Year 9) were both recognised for Outstanding Achievement.

‘The exam focused on formal and professional French usage and was more challenging than the higher level French studies I undertook for the International Baccalaureate,’ said Ashley.

Newly graduated from school, Ashley is now aiming for a career in scientific research and would like to one day work for an international company that can utilise her French skills.
