Ravenswood was awash with the colour orange as Year 5 hosted students from schools across Sydney to celebrate Harmony Day.

Harmony Day is much anticipated at Ravenswood and the 2017 theme of ‘Everyone Belongs’ encouraged participation in the community, respect for cultural and religious diversity and the fostering of a sense of belonging.

Highlights of the Ravenswood celebrations included a Chapel Service on themes of peace and harmony and a visit from South American dancers and musicians who called the students on stage to play their international instruments.

Students from Masada College, The Australian Islamic College and Galstaun College joined the Ravenswood students to embrace their different religious and cultural backgrounds by sharing in music, singing, reflective learning and sporting activities.
