IGSSA Cross Country was held at Frensham School in Mittagong on Friday 15 May. You could sense a readiness and excitement from the team, as the girls arrived with vigour and determination. The support for one another was so enjoyable to watch, as they cheered and screamed for their fellow teammates along the hard slog to the finishing line. As always, the races started fast and furious but the girls were well prepared and they all focused on getting into their rhythm and race pace.

Congratulations to all the competitors. The teamwork and amazing individual performances enabled Ravenswood to move up three positions in an extremely competitive competition, finishing in 4th place overall. This was an unbelievable result, attained by every girl training hard in the lead-up to IGSSA and doing the best she could on the day.

Congratulations to Zoeand Naomi, Year 7, for coming 7th and 9th respectively and qualifying for NSWCIS, which takes place at Eastern Creek Raceway on Thursday 11 June.
