Year 10 student Tiffany Thomas Kane is the youngest recipient of an Order of Australia Medal for 2017. The champion swimmer received her award at an Australia Day ceremony for her service to Australian sport. Tiffany represented her country at the 2016 Rio Paralympics, winning one gold and three bronze medals. She now has her sights set on the 2020 Paralympics in Tokyo.
