Junior School enjoys its own park-like precinct on the same campus as Secondary School. Each student has her own classroom and access to break-out rooms used for small group activities.
Specialist lessons are undertaken in dedicated classrooms for Music and Visual Arts. In Years 5 and 6, students use the Technological and Applied Studies rooms and Science Laboratories. All Junior School students also enjoy the use of our state-of-the-art Learning Resources Centre, located in the Award Winning Mabel Fidler building.
Play, happiness and sharing is an integral part of the daily routine of Junior School. Fixed playground climbing equipment provides hours of fun while Mrs Holly’s Garden, our open green space, allows students to develop and play imaginary games and participate in physical activities. Picnic tables are provided for students who prefer more passive or quiet leisure time.
The tennis courts, basketball courts, swimming pool and oval are used for structured lessons and classes and the oval is often used for free play.
K-2 students enjoy sustainability activities in the Annesley House garden where they are able to grow their own vegetables. They also enjoy the sand pit and cubby house, which provide wonderful opportunities for building friendships and creating imaginary games.
