Strings

  Add to Favourites
There are a number of opportunities for students of all ages and abilities to participate in a string ensemble. Participating in an ensemble allows students to learn new skills, encourages practise, and gives students the confidence to play with other musicians. Being part of an ensemble also gives students the opportunity to socialise with like-minded peers across different Year Groups.

Ensembles perform at events such as Assembly, Lunchtime Concerts and the K-12 Music Showcase. Students are required to sit a placement audition so that they can be assigned to a string ensemble appropriate to their level.
