In Secondary School, there are a number of opportunities for students of all abilities to participate in assorted bands and ensembles. Participating in a band allows students to learn new skills, encourages practise and gives students the confidence to play with other musicians. Being a band member also gives students the opportunity to socialise with like-minded peers across different Year Groups.

Bands perform at events such as Assembly, Lunchtime Concerts and the K-12 Music Showcase. Students are required to sit a placement audition so that they can assigned to a band or ensemble appropriate to their level.
