Students in Years 7–12 have the opportunity to participate in Swimming. The Years 7–12 Swimming Carnival is held in Term 1 and at this event, every student is given an opportunity to participate and compete for her House. Students who perform well are then selected to represent Ravenswood and compete at the IGSSA Carnival in Term 1, where there is the opportunity to be selected and progress to NSWCIS, NSW All Schools and School Sport Australia Championships.
Swimming Lessons are available at the school throughout the year and are open to all Ravenswood students and the general public. Lessons cater for swimmers from age four through to adults at all levels, from Learn to Swim programs to elite level. All Swimming Coaches are highly experienced and hold AUSTSWIM or Swim Australia qualifications. Lessons are run on a term-by-term basis and take place before or after school, as well as on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
