The Ravenswood community is deeply saddened by the loss of Joan Goff, a greatly esteemed former Deputy Headmistress of Ravenswood, who sadly passed away on 23 December 2016.

Joan was appointed Deputy Headmistress in 1968 and served in this role for 19 years. Throughout these many years Joan made a tremendous contribution to our school and her outstanding administrative skills combined with her warmth and outgoing manner were greatly valued both during her tenure and in the wonderful legacy she left as an educator and leader at Ravenswood. Joan worked closely with the late Phyllis Evans who was Headmistress at this time and they became dear lifelong friends.

The funeral service will be held at 10.30am on 12 January at St James Church, King Street, Sydney. Following the service, the cortege will proceed to Macquarie Park Lawn Cemetery.
