Ravenswood is proud to have been named on The Educator magazine’s inaugural 5-Star Best School list for 2025. The 5-Star Best School list commends those educational institutions which incorporate innovation, diversity, resources, community and culture to best deliver the best experience possible for staff and students.
Ravenswood was also named on the 5-Star Innovative School list for the seventh time in eight years (2018, 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025) for its work in the areas of Positive Education and STEM. This list acknowledges schools at the forefront of change and innovation. It also recognises those schools which choose to break the mould of traditional teaching, enabling their students to flourish with cutting-edge initiatives.
Ravenswood garnered an Excellence Award in The Educator’s Australian Education Awards for Best Student Wellbeing Program in 2021, 2022, 2024 and 2025. With growing research highlighting that students who have a sense of belonging at their school feel happier, cope better with challenges and have better self-esteem, Ravenswood embraces the philosophies of Positive Education and student wellbeing. This Award recognises schools which place importance on inclusion, student health and wellbeing and striving to provide young people a sense of purpose.
Ravenswood won the Best Use of Technology award at the 2024 Australian Education Awards, and was awarded an Excellence Award for Primary School Teacher of the Year in 2022. Ravenswood also won Excellence Awards at the 2022, 2024 and 2025 Australian Education Awards for Boarding School of the Year, an Excellence Award for Primary School Teacher of the Year (Non-Government) in 2022 and an Excellence Award for Best Professional Learning Program in 2025.
