Our two-year Creative Arts scholarship is available at Ravenswood School for Girls for a student commencing Year 10 in 2027.
The Creative Arts play a central and vital role in Ravenswood’s curriculum, fostering in students’ important life skills of creativity, innovation and self-expression. This Creative Arts scholarship has been established to provide an opportunity for a student passionate about Visuals Arts, Creative Writing and English. Ravenswood currently offers separate scholarship opportunities for Music.
Ravenswood scholarships are conducted by Academic Assessment Services. All scholarship candidates are required to take the Scholarship Examination, conducted at Ravenswood on Saturday 15 August 2026. The test will incur a fee of $150. Late applications or registrations will not be accepted. Applications will close at 4.00pm AEST on Friday 8 August 2026.
Eligibility
This Ravenswood Creative Arts Scholarship is offered to a new student entering into Year 10, 2027 and who will be studying Visual Arts and Advanced Level English for their HSC. They will demonstrate outstanding abilities in both the practical and theoretical aspects of the Creative Arts.
Applications must include:
- A completed Enrolment Application via the Ravenswood website;
- School reports from last two academic years;
- One A4 page written response reflecting the applicant’s skills in Creative Writing / Visual Arts ability; and
- A portfolio of original work that includes four to six works. This can be provided either digitally or via post. Please note that hard copies will be returned.
Successful candidates must be eager to participate in the wide range of opportunities available at Ravenswood and be actively involved in the broader Creative Arts programme as a role model for others.
Value
This Creative Arts Scholarship at Ravenswood covers 50% of the academic Tuition Fees for Years 10 to 12 (subject to satisfactory progress). Core curriculum charges, curriculum related amounts, enrolment fees or other sundry charges remain payable.
All scholarship students have their progress reviewed annually and are required to maintain satisfactory attendance and course progress in order to be eligible for the scholarship in the following year.
