Ravenswood offers an all-year-round Swimming Program for Learn-to-Swim and Squad Swimming.
The Ravenswood Swimming Club provides an opportunity for Ravenswood Swimming Program participants to learn, develop and hone race skills, from beginners to advanced level.
Offering Ravenswood Club and targeted external club racing, as well as area, state and national competitive opportunities, the Ravenswood Swimming Club aims to support swimmers to reach their full potential both in and out of the pool.
Swimmers enjoy an indoor, heated 25-metre pool on campus at Ravenswood School for Girls in Gordon. As well as the six-lane pool, there’s also a seating area for spectators, hot showers and change-room facilities.
Ravenswood Swimming Program
Ravenswood Swimming Program runs throughout the year, offering Learn-to-Swim and Squad Swimming. Available for Ravenswood students and open to the wider community, the Ravenswood Swimming Program caters for beginner swimmers to advanced squad-training swimmers, from as young as Prep (four years old) through to senior students in Year 12.
Ravenswood Swimming Program staff hold AUSTSWIM/Swim Australia or ASCTA accreditation.
Ravenswood Swimming Club

Past and present members of the Ravenswood Swimming Club have represented the club at all levels of competition – from local meets through to the Olympic and Paralympic games. The Ravenswood Swimming Club is affiliated with Swimming Metro North East, Swimming NSW and Swimming Australia Limited.
The Ravenswood Swimming Club is a not-for-profit sporting organisation operating within Ravenswood School for Girls, providing coaching staff and facilities. The club, which is managed by volunteer committee members, also holds regular race meets throughout the year.
