Together with the School, Ravenswood Alumni promote and celebrate the lives and careers of those who have attended Ravenswood.
Our Alumni network is an active and integral part of our School’s community. With close to 14,500 Alumni and a dedicated Alumni engagement program, Ravenswood ensures the golden threads that tie Ravenswood students together continue to kindle beyond the School gates.
Ravenswood Alumni offer a vital connection between past students, current students and the School, encouraging friendships, mentoring and involvement in our Ravenswood community. Generations of families have also chosen to enrol their daughters, granddaughters and even great-granddaughters at Ravenswood.
Alumni can stay connected with Ravenswood and their peers:
- via the Ravenswood Alumni E-Newsletter
- by contributing stories and updates to the biannual Semper magazine
- via following Ravenswood social media platforms Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and X
- by attending or helping with Reunions and Alumni gatherings locally, regionally, interstate or internationally
- by attending Alumni events (such as Generations Breakfast and Golden Girls’ Luncheon)

Ravenswood Alumni Advisory Committee
In 1908, Ravenswood’s founding Principal, Miss Mabel Fidler, established the Ravenswood Old Girls’ Union (ROGU), an association for all past students who have attended Ravenswood for their schooling. Today, this association of remarkable women, forged by their shared experience of a Ravenswood education, is known as Ravenswood Alumni (adopted at the 2018 Annual General Meeting).
Representing all Alumni, the Committee comprises Alumni of all ages and experiences, each passionate about representing Alumni and encouraging support for one another. The Principal, Mrs Anne Johnstone, is Patron. Meetings are held each School Term and all Alumni are welcome to attend. The current Ravenswood Alumni Advisory Committee is:
- Lisa Boyce (Clancy, 1990), President
- Georgia Vanos (2001), Vice-President
- Soriah MacLean (2013), Treasurer
- Vivienne Yang (2020), Secretary
- Anne-Katrine Goulston (Sundell, 1990)
- Rachel Fife (Newton, 1997)
- Sarah Robinson (Newton, 1992)

Ravenswood Alumni is open to all past students, including girls who left prior to their final year of schooling. Alumni are welcomed from all over the world and from all walks of life.
‘Once a Ravenswood girl, always a Ravenswood girl.’
