Our annual Commemorative Paver Program, an initiative of the Ravenswood Foundation, is an enduring way to celebrate your connection with Ravenswood.
Pavers are manufactured once a year and your Commemorative Paver, with your personalised inscription, is unveiled in the Old Girls’ Courtyard at a Paver Reveal Event.
We invite you to create a memento of your Ravenswood days by securing a personalised Commemorative Paver through a philanthropic and tax-deductible donation of $500 to the Ravenswood Building Fund.
Pavers can be purchased by or on behalf of current students, Alumni, grandparents, staff and other Ravenswood community members. Pavers are laid in the Old Girls’ Courtyard next to each other to symbolise the closeness of community members at Ravenswood.
For more information about the Commemorative Paver Program, please contact the Ravenswood Community Engagement Team at community@ravenswood.nsw.edu.au or (02) 9498 9898.
Testimonials
‘As an Alumni of Ravenswood it is very meaningful to have a paver for each of my three daughters, my sister and myself all laid in the Old Girls’ Courtyard together. Ravenswood is a very special place to all of us and our pavers provide a wonderful memento of the school years we all spent there as well as a celebration of the ongoing connection we have with the School.’
Jane Selig (1982), Alumni, past parent and past staff member
‘We are so pleased to have joined Ravenswood’s Commemorative Paver Program by gifting a paver to our daughter Jasmine in celebration of the completion of her studies at Ravo. Jasmine’s Commemorative Paver is a lasting testament to her happy connection to Ravenswood. Each time we see the paver we are reminded of her wonderful days at the school, and of the friendships, learning, and opportunities that Ravo enabled.’
The Petty Family. Current parents and Alumni daughter (2022)
‘I purchased three pavers to commemorate three generations of Ravenswood in my family (one for my mum (Pamela Clancy (nee Burnet), my daughter (Madi Boyce) and myself). The pavers are a distinctive, tangible way to create an enduring memory of our years at Ravenswood.’
Lisa Boyce, Ravenswood Alumni Committee President, Alumni and past parent
‘As an Alumni family and parents to two daughters, we viewed our decision to participate in the Ravenswood Commemorative Paver Program as wonderful way to create a sense of legacy and permanence to acknowledge the pivotal role Ravenswood has played in shaping our lives. This initiative is more than just a contribution to the Ravenswood Foundation’s essential philanthropical work as the memories associated with the personalised pavers serve as a beautiful testament to the collective legacy we are part of and the pleasure we feel in supporting Ravenswood’s continued growth and success.
There’s a unique charm in seeing both my own and our daughters’ names side by side with many other remarkable Ravenswood women as it creates a deep sense of pride and connection. It is also very special to feel that our family, in a small tangible way, is intricately woven into the tapestry of Ravenswood’s history.’
