The Ravenswood Foundation was formed in 1991 to assist in securing the financial future of the School and to support Ravenswood in its dedication to excellence in education for girls.
As at many independent schools, school fees at Ravenswood are used primarily for operating costs. The foundation is involved in many activities and events that help to raise funds to facilitate major capital projects, building projects, scholarships and bursaries, teaching and learning resources, and projects related to the School across sport, the arts, pastoral care, spiritual development and other important areas.
The Ravenswood Foundation supports the School across a number of initiatives including the annual Commemorative Paver Program and the Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize. The Ravenswood Foundation Gala Ball, Foundation Dinner and Ravenswood Giving Day are held every two years.
The Ravenswood Fidler Fellowship program also honours and recognises those who offer their commitment and generosity to Ravenswood in the form of a bequest in their will.
Gifts through the foundation have been used to support life-changing scholarships and bursaries for students who might not otherwise be able to afford a Ravenswood education. They have also been used to support teaching and learning resources and major building projects. These include the Mabel Fidler Building, the Centenary Centre, the Gillian Mapp Memorial Pool, the Strength and Conditioning Centre, the Petre Innovation Science and Technology Centre, the Senior Learning Centre and the new Wellbeing Path.
Ravenswood invites you to make a tangible and lasting tax-deductible donation online.
