International Students

The Ravenswood community is one comprised of many nationalities.

Students from Europe, the USA, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, and China to name a few, attend Ravenswood. International students include students from overseas on various permanent or temporary visas and include students studying on a 500 Student Visa (Overseas Students).

International students make a significant contribution to the life of the school, and we welcome and celebrate diverse cultures of all students.

Overseas students

Ravenswood is registered to accept a limited number of Overseas Students studying on a 500 Student Visa, from Kindergarten to Year 12.

It is Ravenswood’s preference for Overseas Students to live with a parent or close family relative (as defined by Department of Immigration and Border Protection, or for students in Years 7-12 to live in the Ravenswood Residential College (RRC).

The Principal is responsible for ensuring that the welfare, guardianship, and accommodation of Overseas Students living in the Ravenswood Residential College is appropriate and complies with the ESOS Act 2000 and the National Code of Practice 2007.
