Learning Enrichment is provided for all students so that every child has the opportunity to reach her full potential. The Learning Enrichment Department caters for the strengths, weaknesses and varying learning needs of students, by utilising information from a range of standardised tests and assessments.

In Junior School, learning is differentiated across the Curriculum. In K–2, extension and support is provided by classroom and Learning Enrichment teachers collaboratively, in Literacy and Numeracy. In Years 3–4, identified students are withdrawn from class and offered extension or support, by specialist Learning Enrichment teachers, in small groups or individually. In Years 5–6, identified students are withdrawn for Literacy and Numeracy support and extension.

Ravenswood offers an extensive range of learning opportunities designed to develop the talents of each student. Extension group activities and projects include the da Vinci Decathlon. Individual extension projects include Future Problem Solving Scenario Writing and Scenario Performance, Mathematics Challenge for Young Australians and Australasian Problem Solving Mathematical Olympiads. Independent projects are initiated on a needs basis, in areas of interest.

As a member of the Independent Primary School Heads of Australia (IPSHA), Learning Enrichment staff attend meetings and workshops regularly where collegial sharing and professional development are provided.
