In Terms 1 and 4, students in Year 10–12 have the opportunity to take part in Rowing. The Rowing program is run in conjunction with Macquarie University and caters for beginners through to experienced rowers. Coaches from Macquarie University tailor programs to cater for the ability and experience of the group. Students will learn the basic skills of Rowing in a safe and fun environment aimed at developing teamwork, problem solving and racing skills. Opportunities exist for students to then join the Macquarie University Rowing Club and to further their sporting ambitions.
Rowing is delivered in five week blocks and classes are conducted after school twice a week at the Macquarie University Boatshed, Lane Cove. All equipment is provided but transport is not included.
Registrations occur the term prior.
