The choice of a school for your daughter is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent.
Enrolment steps
There is a four step enrolment process at Ravenswood.
Step one is completing the Enrolment Application Form.
Applications for enrolment can be made by completing the Enrolment Application form online
The documents and policies referred to in the Enrolment Application Form are available on our Policies page. Detailed school fee information is available on our Fees page.
International Students, including Overseas Students studying on a 500 Student Visa, should refer to the International Applications section prior to completing an application form. An Application Fee of $400 (including Overseas Students) is payable when submitting the online application.
Step two is receiving a Provisional Offer.
Once a completed Enrolment Application Form, supporting documentation and the Application Fee have been received by the Enrolments Office, and reviewed by the Head of Enrolments, a Provisional Offer may be made, subject to a place being available within the Year Group requested and completed documentation being provided.
Acceptance is required within the specific time as stated in the offer, accompanied by a payment of a non-refundable Acceptance Fee of $1900, to ensure the place is allocated on the Provisional Offer Enrolment List.
If a place is not available, the student will be placed on a Waiting List and no Acceptance Fee is required until a Provisional Offer is proposed.
Step three is attending an interview.
Two years prior to entry, prospective students and their parents will be required to complete a Pre-Enrolment Form and attend an interview. School reports and NAPLAN results (if applicable) are also required.
These interviews are conducted with a Deputy Principal and or the Head of Enrolments. At this interview, the school’s expectations of parents and students are discussed.
Elective choices for older students will be discussed and clarified prior to confirmation of enrolment.
Step four is receiving a Confirmed Place.
Following a satisfactory interview, a Confirmed Offer of Enrolment may be made.
Acceptance is required within the specified time as stated in the offer, accompanied by payment of the Enrolment Fee. This payment is a non-refundable Enrolment Fee of $2500 of the Confirmed Offer. This payment is the final step in the Enrolment process. Each component of the Enrolment fees is non-refundable.
Amendments
Please note that changes to commencement dates may not be accommodated. If the School is able to accommodate the request, a change fee may be applicable.
We would like to assist you in any way we can. For further information about enrolments, please contact the Enrolments Office. Our Enrolments Office is open Monday-Friday 8.00am–5.00pm.
