Jacqueline, Year 11, has gained a place in the Australian team for the World Individual Debating and Public Speaking Championships to be held at Ravenswood in 2017.

Jacqueline qualified for the team by placing second in Debating, fourth in Impromptu Speaking, sixth in Persuasive Speaking and twelfth in Interpretative Reading at the Australian round of the competition.

Ravenswood was represented in the finals of every section of the nationals except After Dinner Speaking.

Also held concurrently was Speakfest which mirrors the AIDPSC competition.
