At Ravenswood, our focus on the individual ensures that every student is educated to her full potential at every stage of her learning journey.
Ravenswood Prep offers our youngest RAVO girls an enriching and nurturing transition to school with a unique early-learning offering. Its curriculum combines the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP), the Reggio Emilia philosophy and Ravenswood’s award-winning Positive Education approach.
An inquiry approach to learning drawn from the IB PYP Learning Framework is also used throughout Junior School, from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Ravenswood is the only school on the Upper North Shore in Sydney to offer senior students the flexibility and choice of undertaking either the Higher School Certificate (HSC) or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme.
We are proud of the successive generations of Ravenswood students who have achieved academic excellence, right across the course of our history.
Recent Ravenswood graduates have gained entry to Harvard University, the University of Oxford, Princeton, New York University, Imperial College London and the Royal College of Music, as well as to prestigious courses at leading Australian universities.
As a proudly non-selective school, our IB Diploma students, together with our HSC students, have continued the Ravenswood tradition of academic excellence, applying themselves with dedication, resilience, grit and optimism. We are truly inspired by the efforts and achievements of these outstanding young women of character and substance.
