A Duke of Edinburgh Silver practice hiking expedition took place from 15–17 April, starting from Cowan — Berowra Waters — and ending up in Crosslands Reserve, due to forecasted storms. The girls had a great time and were very entertaining, particularly when a leech found its way onto one of the girls’ shoes.
