Ravenswood Vice-Captains Tess Webster and Lucy Kellaway enhanced their leadership skills at an international leadership conference at Bond University in January.

Staged by the Alliance of Girls Schools Australasia, the conference attracted students from as far afield as Zimbabwe, the Philippines and the United States, helping prepare student leaders to be effective and inspire others in their final year of school.

Speakers included United Nations representatives, young, global entrepreneurs and former Olympians.

‘Networking with the other girls was really insightful and Tess and I took away heaps of ideas for initiatives that we can’t wait to suggest to the rest of the Prefect body,’ said Lucy. ‘The trip has boosted my confidence as a leader and left me feeling even more excited for my position in the year ahead.’
