Congratulations to Tiffany Thomas Kane (Yr 11) who finished fourth in both the S8 50 Metre Butterfly and 50 Metre Freestyle Finals at the Commonwealth Games. Tiffany is classified as an S7 athlete, so to compete against the Commonwealth’s best at S8 level and finish just outside of the medals is a remarkable achievement.

Well done also to Ravenswood’s Head Swimming Coach, Mitch Falvey, who coached Ravenswood Swim Club member, James Magnussen, to Gold as a member of the 4x100 Metre Freestyle Relay team, which produced a Commonwealth Games record in this event.
