Open Day is an opportunity for future parents, guardians, and their daughters to discover how Ravenswood is a multi-award-winning Positive Education and wellbeing school, and one of Australia’s leading independent girls’ schools.
2024 Open Day highlights include:
- Hear from our dynamic award-winning Principal, Anne Johnstone, Head of Junior School – Deputy Principal, Ms Sarah Guy, and current students in our state-of-the-art Auditorium on the benefits of a Ravenswood education and how we strive to help girls flourish in every aspect of their lives;
- Learn more about our multi-award-winning Positive Education and wellbeing programs and discover how Ravenswood is the only School on the Upper North Shore to offer a choice between the Higher School Certificate (HSC) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma, and one of the top academic schools in NSW. In 2022 and 2023, five students (HSC and IB Diploma) accomplished a perfect ATAR of 99.95;
- Feel the warmth and sense of belonging as you are welcomed at the front entrance by our Ravenswood Parents’ Association and Ravenswood Alumni. Witness first-hand how our warm, inclusive School ignites students’ potential, inspiring their passion and purpose;
- Experience a day in the life of a Ravenswood girl by exploring our world-class, award-winning facilities and idyllic gardens during our student-led campus, Prep and Residential College Boarding tours;

- View a range of student talents and skills showcased in a range of Sport, Performing Arts and Cadet Exhibitions, Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular demonstrations;
- Enjoy complimentary food and refreshments prepared by our Mabel’s Café team;
- Speak one-on-one to our Teaching, Sport, Performing Arts and Co-curricular staff at Information Stations throughout the campus.
Ravenswood’s idyllic campus is in Sydney’s leafy upper North Shore, just 15 kilometres from Sydney’s city centre and within a five-minute walk from the Gordon Transport interchange (bus and rail). Parking is available on the surrounding streets and in the Gordon Station car park. Entry to 2024 Open Day is via Gate 1 on Henry Street.
