2024 Ravenswood Foundation Gala Ball

On Saturday 24 August, the Ravenswood Foundation and Doltone House Jones Bay Wharf hosted the 2024 Ravenswood Foundation Gala Ball.

More than 250 parents, staff, Alumni, partners and friends of the Ravenswood community came together to raise funds in support of the Ravenswood Building Fund (for state-of-the-art equipment for the new Strength and Conditioning Centre in the new Wellbeing and Sport Centre) and Ravenswood Scholarship Fund (to support life-changing scholarships and bursaries for students).

Hosted by popular Fox Sports presenters Tony Squires and Ravenswood Alumni Eloise Sohier (2012), the black tie fundraiser was a high-spirited affair, with a delicious 3-course meal, energetic live music provided by the Baker Boys Band, and a lively auction led by Craig Marshall from our Gold Partner The Marshall Group.

A highlight for many on the night was the Q&A hosted by Principal Mrs Anne Johnstone with former student and Deputy Chair of Ravenswood Council Christine Morgan (1978), and three of our current Ravenswood student scholarship recipients – Maggie Farquhar (Year 12), Maren Haldane (Year 11) and Willow Holm (Year 7) – who shared their experiences as recipients of Ravenswood scholarships and the difference it has made to their life and education.

The Ravenswood Foundation wishes to thank and express gratitude to all community members who attended the Ball, generously contributed funds, and donated or purchased auction items.

If you were a successful bidder on an auction item (you would have been notified by Givergy) you can collect your auction item from the Marketing, Communications and Community Engagement team in Holland House (above Health Care) at the bottom of the Peace Lawn, entering via Gate 12 on Ravenswood Avenue.  Please collect between 8.00am and 4.00pm on a weekday. Call Main Reception on (02) 9498 9898 or email community@ravenswood.nsw.edu.au for any further enquiries.
